Sisters Brittania, 8 and Kimberly, 10 getting ready to help me cook dinner. |
Coming up on
August 10th I'm hosting a fundraising cookout. I will be (attempting) to teach you how to make baleadas over an outdoor fire. Baleadas are the most typical Honduran meal. Basically think of a bean and cheese quesadilla but SOOOO much better! We'll make our own flour tortillas from scratch. I'll also have some other traditional side dishes.

The party is at my parents' place. If you need directions call, text or e-mail me. We'll start cooking at
5:00 p.m. with a bonfire to follow.
Feel free to spread the word and bring friends.
Please RSVP by phone or e-mail kmcross10@gmail.com who will be coming.
I am asking that each guest donate at least $10. If you can't cover that please still come! If you are able to donate further it would be greatly appreciated.
I still have around $3,000 to fundraise before December.
If you can't make it please consider still donating. Here on my blog just click
here or on the "My Donation Page" link on the left hand-side. All donations are tax-deductible!
