Feliz Cumple Finca!

Every May the Farm celebrates it's anniversary at the same time we celebrate the the Virgin Mary. May is considered the month of Mary. The kids all performed songs about Mary and then the one girl from each house had a Mary dress-up contest and had to answer the question, "Who is Mary to you?" The answers ranged from "A humble girl", "My mother and stronghold" to the best response from our three-year-old who simply shouted into the mic "ME!". Help me reach my goal!

Thank you to everyone who has taken time to follow my journey here in Honduras. I will be leaving The Farm in 7 months which is still plenty of time to reach many of my goals here and just continue forming incredible memories and relationships with our children, staff and the other missionaries.

A large part of making daily life possible here comes from our donors. As you can see on my fundraising thermometer my estimated costs have been higher (mainly due to increased health insurance costs and flight costs) than the predicted $15,000. I still need around $3,000 to safely cover my remaining costs.

I am incredibly grateful to each and everyone of you who has donated and/or taken time to keep us in your prayers. Even more than financial support we need your prayers. Our children, our staff and all the missionaries need your prayers that everyday we would have the grace to do God's will.

If you are able to donate even $5 it makes an impact. Please keep in mind that any funds I am able to fundraise beyond my immediate needs goes directly to fill the needs of keeping The Farm operating and serving our children. I will be home at the end of July to mid-August and am able to take material donations back with me.
